.) Sometimes, rock bottom is a blessing in disguise. Rock bottom is usually the breeding ground for miracles and success stories. Most famous people have a rock bottom story that motivated them in ways that some people never experience in their entire life.

.) Sometimes, the best place to find yourself, is in the dark. While darkness can be terrifying, it can also be an ideal environment to force you to face yourself, and sift through the ashes of your life for answers. Eventually, you will realize that the only thing left, the only answer, is you.

.) The only direction from here is up. You cannot dig your grave any deeper. If you are forced to stop digging, and take a moment to face yourself, you will have a moment of clarity. You must use this moment to decide whether to stay right there until you die, or to climb your way back up out of that grave and grab the life that is waiting for you at the surface.

.) Rock bottom is your friend. Rock bottom doesn’t want to consume you and hold you hostage in its embrace forever. It just wants to give you the most uncomfortable hug you’ve ever experienced in your life, and present you with a form of tough love that you have needed for a very long time, but the people around you have been unable to provide you with. Rock bottom just wants what’s best for you, and intends to scare you and send you off running in the right direction to whatever that may be.

.) Rock bottom will always be waiting. Rock bottom will always be ready to embrace you in arms you told yourself you never wanted to feel wrapped around you again. Rock bottom will always be loving and watching you from a distance. It will always be cheering you on in hopes that you will stay away, but be ready to scare you straight if you ever come back.
