Falling for you
reminds me of that scene
from Leave it to Beaver
where Wally asks Beaver
how he could just let his bike get stolen like that.
Beaver replies,
“I guess it’s because he stole it a little bit at a time.”
My heart
is
Beaver’s bike,
and you
are just some selfish kid
who played games
and did cool tricks with it.
You made my heart do things
I didn’t even know it was capable of,
and all this time
I just sat there,
mesmerized.
I trusted you,
but then you just
ran away with it.
What am I supposed to tell my father?
