Tigger
Tell me,
Tigger,
how am I supposed to bounce back?
All you did
was bounce away,
destroying everything in your path.
Left me here
to clean the mess you made,
you selfish, clumsy, scaredy cat.
Left me chasing ghosts
through these hundred acres
of woods.
For the record,
I don’t hate you
even though I should.
I wish that you had stayed.
I just hope you find what you’re looking for,
and don’t get lost along the way.
Even if we can’t be friends anymore
I’ll still think of you every day.
Just don’t forget your old pal, Eeyore,
still trying to make sense of your games.
Nothing will be like it was before,
but maybe that’s okay.
